How do Good Route group rides work?

The organiser creates a ride and shares its code. Riders enter the code and a nickname to join. No account is required.

Start a group in three steps

  1. Create a group ride and share its six-character code.
  2. Other riders enter the code and a nickname.
  3. See the group on the map while following your own route.

What happens to group location data?

Good Route stores one latest position per rider, not a location history. Positions fade after two minutes without an update. Leaving removes your position; finishing removes the whole ride. Abandoned rides are deleted after seven days.
