Temporary group rides
See the group. Keep your own route.
Share a six-character code during a motorcycle ride-out or road trip, see each rider's latest position and let the organiser end the group when the ride is over.
How do Good Route group rides work?
The organiser creates a temporary ride and shares its code. Riders join with a nickname, then see the group's latest positions without giving up their own route.
Start a group in three steps
- 01
Create
Start a temporary group ride in Good Route and copy the six-character code.
- 02
Join
Other riders enter the code and a nickname. No account is required.
- 03
Ride
See the latest positions while each rider follows their own locked route.
What happens to group location data?
Good Route stores one latest position per rider, not a location history. A position fades after two minutes without an update. Leaving deletes that rider record, finishing deletes the ride, and abandoned rides are removed after seven days.
